/link

Used to generate a Steam Join Lobby and Add Friend link for others to use.

Tip: in order to use /link, users must first run /register to link a Steam Profile!

Usage

In order to access this command visit any text or thread channel and type /, then select /link.

/link is used as a light-weight alternative to /host. The purpose of this feature is to allow a user to generate a Join Link and a Friend Link so they may be copied into a traditional text message. This feature is especially useful in servers with pre-existing LFG channels with no specific format or for users looking to LFG outside of Discord.

If no match is joined, or the game doesn't support joining through Steam, a Friend Link will only be provided.

Available Parameters

In order to use /announce you must first provide a Description up to 2000 characters in length.

You will be provided a hidden confirmation message which can be used to copy the prior mentioned links.
