Choose to Opt-In or Out of our Global LFG Network!
Usage
In order to access this option visit any text or thread channel and type /, then select /setup. Then select from the dropdown 👥 Change Global LFG Network Preference.
A unique feature to our service which sets us apart is our Global LFG Network. A service which servers may opt-into in order to broadcast their new LFG Posts to other participating servers. This helps to maximize visibility of posts, thus easing the burden of finding other players.
This /setup option allows the server to make the choice if they want their LFG Posts and Server Invites to remain private to their Discord or public on the network.
Tip: in order to avoid abuse, /setup can only be accessed by users and roles with the permissions of Administrator or Manage Channels.
Simply select your desired option to proceed!
Available Sub-Options
Upon selecting 👥 Change Global LFG Network Preference, you will be presented with choices:
This will make all new LFG Posts become visible on the Global LFG Network. In doing this you agree to allowing us to maintain a invite to your Discord Server. We will provide the invite to any users using /notify or /searchto browse the network.
You will be presented with your current preference as well.
This will remove your Discord Server's current LFG Posts from the Global LFG Network, and will not list future new LFG Posts. We will no longer provide your Discord Server invite to any users using /notify or /searchto browse the network.
Your updated preference will also be provided.
This is used to choose whether to have your Discord server's invite Visible or Hidden on posts your server provides to the Global LFG Network. Either option will affect what buttons are present when someone uses /notify or /searchto browse the network.
Selecting the third option will provide you with whether to choose Visible or Hidden.
By default invites are Visible to assist in boosting Discord server visibility.
Remaining Hidden will ensure Discord server privacy and help to instead focus filling your lobby.
