In order to access this option visit any text or thread channel and type /, then select /setup. Then select from the dropdown đ Control LFG Post Thread Automatic Creation.
A core feature of our LFG service is the fact new LFG Posts automatically create Threads, private text channels, attached to each post. This can however be overwhelming, thus it can be disabled, for say server admins whom are handling multiple new LFG Posts in a channel per hour.
This /setup option allows you to control whether to attach a thread to each new LFG Post.
Tip: in order to avoid abuse, /setup can only be accessed by users and roles with the permissions of Administrator or Manage Channels.
Upon selecting đ Control LFG Post Thread Automatic Creation, you will be presented with choices:
This will stop new LFG Posts from automatically attaching a thread on creation. This however still enables users to manually attach a thread for conversation by simply right click the message and selecting Create Thread. This does not have a required response, simply select it to take effect.
