In order to access this option visit any text or thread channel and type /, then select /setup. Then select from the dropdown đ Assign LFG Notification Channels.
Similar to /notify, this /setup option grants servers the ability to configure their channels to broadcast new posts from the Global LFG Network. Servers may configure any number of channels to display new posts for specific games or all games.
You may also pair games with users, if you are seeking for example to only showcase new Stellaris posts by a list of approved hosts. This is the best option for those interested in boosting the available LFG posts in their servers, or simply boosting the visibility of all active posts for a game.
All posts modified or deleted on the Global LFG Network will populate their changes across all subscribed servers automatically. So no fear if you make edits on the fly, everyone will be aware.
Tip: in order to avoid abuse, /setup can only be accessed by users and roles with the permissions of Administrator or Manage Channels.
Upon selecting đ Assign LFG Notification Channels, you will be presented with choices:
Configure channel(s) to showcase new posts to the Global LFG Network.
Response Required: In order to setup Channel Notifications, respond by typing in the same channel the IDs of your desired channels, followed by a semi-colon with corresponding game Steam Store URLs each separated by a comma, followed by parentheses with user or server IDs inside each separated by a plus sign. (Ex:
<#891785797672521748>;https://store.steampowered.com/app/281990/Stellaris/,https://store.steampowered.com/app/107410/Arma_3/(<@284839059157942274>+<@224349699061186570>+912156910118129684))
Tip: to access channel IDs, simply right click a channel and select Copy ID, or type # and select them from the list of channels. You may do the same to copy user IDs, or type @ and select them from the list of users.
