Control whether to display a game's default banner for new LFG Posts!
Usage
In order to access this option visit any text or thread channel and type /, then select /setup. Then select from the dropdown 🖼️ Control LFG Post Default Banner Images.
Certain server are bustling with activity in their LFG Channels, which can create a large list of LFG Posts at once. To help declutter and make a channel easier to read, you can disable the default banner image attached for each game. This will result in a post half the size of what is usual.
This /setup option allows you to control whether to display a game's default banner on a LFG Post.
Tip: in order to avoid abuse, /setup can only be accessed by users and roles with the permissions of Administrator or Manage Channels.
Simply select your desired option to proceed!
Available Sub-Options
Upon selecting 🖼️ Control LFG Post Default Banner Images, you will be presented with choices:
This will stop new LFG Posts from displaying a game's default banner. This however still enables a user to manually set a banner if said parameter is provided when using /host. This does not have a required response, simply select it to take effect.
As briefly mentioned, users who manually set a banner or use /modify later will still have banners on their posts.
This will make each new LFG Post display their game's default banner. However if said parameter is provided when using /host, then the user defined banner will be displayed instead. This does not have a required response, simply select it to take effect.
A game's default banner will always be the cover image for the game listed on the Steam Store!
